When some friends built a Brooklyn igloo in the midst of New York's second-biggest snowstorm, they did what so many others in the city with a bit of extra space do: Listed it on Airbnb.
But it turns out Patrick Horton and his friends couldn't rent out their "Boutique Winter Igloo for 2," NBC News reported. The $200-per-night "chic dome-style bungalow" was wasn't up to Airbnb's standards.
An Airbnb representative told Horton that, while the igloo was "very well constructed," it didn't "meet our occupancy rules," like electricity and a roof that holds up in cold and warm weather.

But the rep said they were "an appreciator of fine igloos around the world," so Horton didn't walk away from the snowstorm empty handed.
