Apple to Launch Retina Display for 13-inch MacBook

Apple will bring its high-resolution Retina Display to the 13-inch MacBook Pro in early October, according an industry analyst.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI shared the information on Thursday that Apple plans to "ramp up production" of the 13-inch MacBook Pro in September, according to AppleInsider. That would mean that the laptop could show up in stores by early October.

Kuo figured that Apple would retire its 17-inch MacBook Pro, and that the 15-inch next-generation MacBook Pro with Retina Display would be sold alongside the previous-generation MacBook Pro, something that turned out to be true.

Apple has a lot of confidence in the tinier, high-res MacBook Pro, Kuo said, but the tech company didn't have one ready to show off at the WWDC this week in San Francisco. .

We think early October is an ambtious launch -- that's if all (fingers crossed!) goes according to plan. We love a light laptop, so we see everything right with Apple including retina display in its smaller design . . .if it's available.
