Apple is set to give its wireless offerings an upgrade, with 2TB and 3TB Time Capsules set to drop alongside an updated version of its Airport Extreme router.
The new Time Capsules, which act as Airport Extremes and also a place for your computer to automatically back your computers up wirelessly, come loaded with huge hard drives. Apple's selling them for $399 and $499, respectively.
Airport Extreme got a slight upgrade as well, delivering dual-band wireless coverage on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously. If you already have an external hard drive to use for backups, you can plug it into the Airport Extreme to give it the same functionality as a Time Capsule as well. It can be had for $179.

Overall, the updates are groundbreaking, but if you've been holding out, now's the time to hop on board.
