U-Haul Crashes Into San Francisco Patagonia Store in Apparent Robbery

Thieves slammed a U-Haul van through the front door of a San Francisco Patagonia store Monday morning and then took off with hundreds of dollars worth of jackets in an apparent smash-and-grab robbery, police said.

The incident happened at the Fisherman's Wharf location at around 3:45 a.m. Police said they are looking for two men connected to the robbery and a U-Haul with the partial plate number AG135.

The men spent about a minute grabbing what they wanted, according to police. Police believe they likely cased the store beforehand.

Police said jackets, which could be valued up to $700 each, were taken from the store.
