SUV Crashes Through Fence, Lands on Subway in Brooklyn

Authorities say an out-of-control SUV crashed through a fence and landed on a subway train in Brooklyn.

Fire officials say there were no injuries.

The MTA say the vehicle was traveling along East 18th Street near Albemarle Road when it struck the fence around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

It's not clear what train was hit, but the B and Q tracks run in that area.

A spokeswoman for the agency says a rescue train pulled up alongside the other train and passengers were taken to the Church Avenue Station.

Southbound Q trains ran express from Prospect Park to Kings Highway for a period following the accident.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with falsely reporting an incident and leaving the scene of an accident.
