A southern New Jersey couple who admitted stealing $2.6 million from customers by selling phony vacation travel club memberships so they could live the good life must repay some of their customers.

A judge on Friday sentenced Daryl Turner to prison for seven years and sentence his wife, Robyn Bernstein, to five years of probation. They pleaded guilty in August to theft by deception.

As part of their plea agreements, the couple agreed to forfeit their Marlton mansion and other assets.

Turner also agreed to pay nearly $2.2 million in restitution to 528 customers.

Turner admitted he pitched phony vacation travel membership packages to numerous customers.

Prosecutors say Turner and Bernstein falsely promised large discounts and benefits to those who bought vacation packages, which typically cost between $2,200 and $6,500.
