Driver Shoots Pedestrian He Almost Hit With Car: Police



    Near Miss Between Pedestrian, Driver Sparks Shooting: SFPD

    A driver and pedestrian in San Francisco exchanged words and things got heated, then the driver pulled out a gun and opened fire, leaving the victim in critical condition, police said.     A man is in critical condition Sunday night after a shooting in San Francisco involving a pedestrian getting into an argument with a driver, police said.

    The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Golden Gate Avenue and Broderick. Police said a near-miss between the pedestrian and motorist sparked an argument that resulted in the motorist shooting the pedestrian.

    The two involved parties did not know each other, police said.

    The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with critical injuries.

    The suspect drove away from the scene.
