Florida Man Threatens Deputies During Arrest, Says He'll “Go Out New York-Style”

A Palm Beach County, Florida, man who was being taken to jail after being arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend threatened deputies, telling them he was ready to die and "go out New York-style."

The Palm Beach Post reports 39-year-old Scott Galbreath was arrested Sunday after a domestic altercation at the home where he lives with his girlfriend. She told deputies that he had kicked her in the ribs on Friday and she spent time in the hospital. When she returned home Sunday morning, he hit her again, she said.

Deputies took Galbreath's words as threats in light of the Dec. 20 shooting in New York that killed two police officers.

The threats were recorded on the patrol car's dashboard camera.

He faces multiple charges. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
