Burger King Breaks Into the Hot Dog Game

Burger King is about to become the Hot Dog King, too.

The fast-food chain is taking its motto, "Have it Your Way," to a whole new level later this month by adding a hot dogs to its permanent menu, CNBC reported.

Burger King will begin selling 100-percent beef hot dogs at its 7,150 restaurants on Feb. 23. Customers will have the opportunity to choose flame-grilled hot dogs that come with ketchup, mustard, chopped onions, and relish or the chili cheese dog which includes warm chili and shredded cheddar cheese. 

"We wanted to keep it under the radar... We wanted to catch people by surprise," Alex Macedo, president of Burger King North America, told CNBC.
