Abducted Massachusetts 2-Year-Old Released From Hospital

A Massachusetts 2-year-old has been released from the hospital two days after being taken from her home and left naked with her head shaved on the side of a road.

Prosecutors announced Sunday that Lyndon Albers of Hamilton was out of the hospital, where she had been since being found Friday.

Abigail Hanna, 21, of neighboring Topsfield, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping the child.

Albers' parents told police they saw her at 3 a.m., but noticed she was missing at 7 a.m. and called 911. After a major search for the child, a couple found her inches off Newbury Road in Rowley - more than seven miles from her home.

Tom and Marge Crosby initially thought the child was a young boy because her head was shaved. She was naked and covered in bruises.

Hanna faces charges of kidnapping, assault and breaking and entering. She is being held without bail and is due to be arraigned Monday.
