Police are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they said attacked a woman in a Lakeside park.
The incident happened at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Lindo Lake Park in the 9800 block of Vine Street when a woman returned to her car to find a man seated inside..
The man physically assaulted her and then forced her to drive to another location within the park, police said. He then told the victim to park the car and proceeded to sexually assault her, according to police. The man then fled the area on foot.
The victim said her attacker was a black man, possibly in his mid 30s, with a light complexion and raised moles on his face. He has dark, crooked lower teeth and green or hazel eyes. He had an Afro with some gray showing on the sides and was wearing a light-color shirt with gray Dickies shorts.
