A woman walking in Hillcrest was struck by a car Friday afternoon, injuring her head, according to the SDPD Watch Commander.
It happened near the UCSD Medical Center on Bachman Place and Lewis Street at about 2:43 p.m. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with head trauma, said SDPD officers.
The severity of her head injury was not yet clear. SDPD officers say another woman was driving the vehicle that collided with the victim.
No other information was immediately available.
