A Lemon Grove woman was in custody, accused of fleeing from a collision in Lincoln Park that injured her passengers.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers received a tip Thursday leading them to the arrest, San Diego police confirmed.
Deneen Grear, 53, faces a felony hit and run charge in connection with the crash of a Mazda on 47th Street Sunday morning.
When the car collided with a parked car on the side of the street, a 79-year-old man sleeping in the back seat of the Mazda was thrown forward into the front passenger seat.
He has been hospitalized with head and neck injuries since the crash and is not expected to survive, according to Crime Stoppers.
A second passenger in the front seat suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.
Grear was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility.
