San Diego athlete Will Claye received the bronze medal in the men's long jump on Saturday.
Claye had a mark of 8.12 meters, and Mitchell Watt of Australia took silver with 8.16.
The San Diego athlete trains at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center.
