A man, who was driving a car with his child inside, faces criminal charges after a fatal collision in Linda Vista Monday.
A Nissan Altima collided with a motorcycle at approximately 6:49 p.m. at the intersection of Genesee Avenue and Linda Vista Road.
Anthony Garibaldo, 26, who was behind the wheel of the car, had his 8-year-old daughter with him.
Police say Garibaldo drove through the red light at Genesee Avenue, turning left onto Linda Vista Road, where he collided with a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was trapped underneath the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.
Garibaldo was arrested and booked on charges including driving under the influence and manslaughter.
His daughter was picked up by family members.
