A North County coach faces more than 20 charges after being accused of taking part in sexual acts with three young teens, according to a published report.
Steven Antony, 39, allegedly had intercourse with one victim and molested that person and two other players, all of whom are under 15, the North County Times reported. The alleged acts of abuse began in 2001, according to the paper.
The suspect the volleyball coach at Escondido's San Pasqual High School and the director of the Sunstorm Volleyball Club. All three victims had ties to the club, the paper reported. None of the victims are associated with the school or the high school team, deputies said.
Antony is being held on $1 million bail in Vista.
