A two-year-old child was hospitalized after nearly drowning in Vista Tuesday afternoon, confirmed the Vista Fire Department.
The toddler fell into the pool, according to Vista Fire.
Emergency crews responded to the apartment complex on the 1400 block of Melrose Way around 4:30 p.m., said Ned Vander, Deputy Chief of the Vista Fire Department.
Paramedics flew the child to a nearby hospital on an air ambulance. No other information was immediately available on the child's condition.
