Mexican officials have uncovered two unfinished drug tunnels in Tijuana, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials confirmed to NBC 7 San Diego.
A poster that reads "secured" is on a fenced-off building about a block or so away from the border on Fray Mayorga in an industrial area of Tijuana.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials were notified by Mexican officials with SEIDO of the discovery near the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
There is no indication so far the tunnels reach the U.S.
In late October of this year, a cross-border tunnel was discovered at an Otay Mesa warehouse leading to a business near the Tijuana airport.
