Multiple cars have piled up in an accident on southbound Interstate 15 near Mercy Road, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around 1:20 p.m. in the Scripps Ranch area.
The two left lanes past Poway Road were blocked as tow trucks picked up the damaged vehicles.
