Thousands of Kaiser workers strike in San Diego, across country for wages, more staffing
More than 4,000 Kaiser Permanente employees in San Diego, and 70,000 more across the country, are poised to launch a three-day strike that their union says will be the largest of its type in U.S. history, contract talks between the provider and union negotiators continued throughout the day Tuesday in hopes of averting the walkout.
