A lone robber stole medical marijuana plants from a Rolando man, according to police.
Around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, a man forced his way into a home on the 4800-block of Filipo Drive.
Once the suspect was inside, he tied up the victim with tape, according to officials. The victim was home alone and it took the man 20 minutes to free himself and call police.
The victim was still conscious and breathing, when medics arrived, but he had cuts on his face. He is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
Police are currently looking for the suspect and detectives are investigating the incident.
