The largest Spanish women's conference in the United States brings together a panel of extraordinary Latina women who will be sharing first-hand experiences in their communities this coming July 15 at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego.
Celebrando Latinas (Celebrating Latinas) offers motivation and learning through educational workshops on subjects like business, health, beauty, legal issues, personal development, and family.
“My goal is that every woman like me learn to recognize that we can’t do it all alone, that there are resources available, that we are many and that we go through similar situations, but together and supported we can overcome them," founder Fanny Miller said.
The Wellness of Latina Women
Attendees will find a program that has been designed with the needs of today's Latinas.
The selected speakers are experts in their area and were chosen according to the needs, challenges, and concerns that affect the lives of Latinas in the region.
Among the celebrities expected to attend are Miss Universe 1986 Alicia Machado and singer Lupillo Rivera. Machado is also a judge on "Great Opportunity" which debuts on Telemundo 20 on Sunday, July 30.
Hispanic Pride in Telemundo20
Members of the new Telemundo20 station in San Diego will be present to discuss the topics that interest the local Latino community. Join Lizzet López (News Anchor - @LizzetTLMD20), MJ Acosta (Sports Anchor - @MJAcostaTV), Ana Cristina Sánchez (Weather Anchor - @ACristinaTLMD20), Anlleyn Venegas (Reporter - @AnlleynTLMD20), Lissette Martinez (Reporter - @LissetteTLMD20) as they share Telemundo programming, such as the Super Series: "Mariposa de Barrio" (8 p.m.), "El Señor de los Cielos 5" (10 p.m.) and entertainment programs such as "Great Opportunity" (July 30) and "Don Francisco Te Invita" (Sunday 10 p.m.).
