Police were responding to a crash Monday night that injured a 17-year old in Oceanside.
It happened at approximately 9:42 p.m. on Rancho Del Oro Drive near Craven Road just South of Highway 76, police confirmed.
Police say the 17-year old was riding his bicycle inside an apartment complex when he was hit. The driver of the car involved was in the middle of parking.
The teen was conscious when officers arrived and did not have life-threatening injuries, police said.
But officers say he was airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla as a precaution because of his age.
No other information was immediately available.
