Several bottle bombs exploded Tuesday night near El Cajon, according to officials.
The explosions were reported around 7:45 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 1500-block of Sams Hill Road in unincorporated El Cajon.
Crews from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Bomb/Arson Unit and Cal Fire responded to the scene.
Cal Fire told NBC 7 that crews discovered four plastic bottles filled with unknown chemicals. Three of the bottle bombs exploded, according to officials. No one was evacuated, but nearby residents were asked to stay inside.
No one was hurt by the explosions. So far, no one has been arrested.
