A suspect wanted in connection to two armed robberies near an ATM in Vista was arrested on Thursday, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department (SDSO) confirmed.
The 37-year old man was arrested around 1:30 p.m.
He was wanted for two separate armed robberies on Jan. 10 and 11 near the Bank of America ATM on Bobier Drive in Vista.
According to SDSO, on Tuesday, Jan. 10, the suspect approached the victim and demanded money at gunpoint. He then ran away towards the Vista Royal Lodge trailer park near the bank ATM.
SDSO said he had been carrying a black semi-automatic handgun, similar to a Glock.
He was booked into the Vista Detention Facility on two counts of robbery and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
