A five-year old girl looking at toys in a Kearny Mesa Wal-Mart was molested by a stranger, according to San Diego police.
Investigators say a man put his hands down the child's pants inside the Wal-Mart supercenter on Shawline Road around 2:20 p.m. Sunday.
The man, described as wearing a short-sleeved black or navy T-shirt and jeans, appeared to be in his 20s or 30s according to witnesses.
The girl was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Investigators say they are examining video of the suspect but have made no arrests.
