Due to high winds Saturday evening's fireworks show after the Padres game has been cancelled, according to an official tweet from Petco Park.
A wind advisory is in effect for San Diego's desert area until 2 a.m. Sunday, and up to an inch of rain is expected by the end of the weekend.
The inclement weather also forced Petco Park to cancel some pre and postgame festivities for Sunday's game, including Kidsfest, Domingoes Padres presented by T-Mobile, Compadres Kids Sunday Signings and the postgame Kids Run the Bases.
The Little League Day parade before the game is still planned as of Saturday evening.
Tickets for tomorrow’s game are nonrefundable or exchangeable, but if the game is cancelled the ticket will be good for the same seat when it is rescheduled.
The game is scheduled to start at 1:40 p.m. Sunday. Both games are against the Dodgers.
