Man Arrested With Help of K9 in Suspected Skyline Burglary

A man has been arrested with the help of a police K9 after a woman reported a burglary in action at her Skyline home Friday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Keil Carver, 34, faces charges of burglary, resisting arrest, and providing false identification to police officers following the incident at around 8:40 p.m. on Parkbrook Place.

The homeowner said when she got home, she saw something upstairs. She immediately called police who soon arrived.

Once at the scene, SDPD sent a K9 to search the home. The dog found Carver inside and bit him in the ankle or foot, police said.

Carver was taken to the hospital, though his injuries were not life-threatening, according to SDPD.

SDPD said the woman did not know Carver.

The suspect will be arraigned on Valentine’s Day at 1:30 p.m.
