A traffic alert was issued in Escondido Friday night due to a rock slide, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The rock slide happened on State Route 78 at Zoo Road just after 8 p.m. Dirt and rocks were reported to be scattered on parts of the roadway.
A SigAlert was activated, diverting drivers away from the impacted area.
No injuries were reported.
No other information was immediately available.
