Summer will go out with a bang this week in San Diego with more heat and then a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
The county can expect another round of subtropical moisture that will move up from northern Baja California.

Most of the precipitation will be over San Diego County, but forecasters say there's a chance of thunderstorms over Los Angeles County Monday evening through Tuesday.
The weather service says rainfall rates will be highly variable, and impacts could include roadway flooding, local flash floods in the mountains and deserts, debris flows and lightning on the beaches.
