Shea Homes Buys Vacant Land in Carlsbad for $4 Million

The San Diego office of Shea Homes has purchased 3.13 acres of vacant land in Carlsbad for $4 million, with plans to build 10 single-family houses, according to brokerage firm Lee & Associates.

The seller of the property, at 1833 Buena Vista Way off Carlsbad Village Drive, was Robert Miles Living Trust of Carlsbad. The buyer and seller were represented by Lee & Associates’ Matt Weaver, Al Apuzzo and Patrick Miller.

At the time of Shea Homes’ purchase, the site held a fully approved, 10-lot tentative tract map, with a final map in the planning process. Brokers said the lots, in the city’s Olde Carlsbad neighborhood, range in size from 9,500 to 15,527 square feet, and some include ocean views.
