Woman Groped by Stranger in South Park: SDPD

The victim told police she fought back and the man ran northbound on 29th Street

San Diego police are searching for the suspect in an alleged sexual assault in South Park.

The victim told police she saw a man on a cell phone near 29th and Grape Streets around 7 p.m. Thursday.

That could have been a ruse officers said because as the woman passed him, the man grabbed her from behind and held her.

When she pushed him away, he groped her breast officers said.

The woman told police she fought back and the man ran northbound on 29th Street.

Officers described the suspect as around 32-years-old, 5’ 6” and heavy set, wearing a green shirt and jeans.
