In November, California voters will decide on legalizing marijuana for recreational use. And in San Diego, voters will have another marijuana-related decision too – a possible new tax on pot.
If approved, Prop. 64 would allow people over 21 years old to use marijuana legally, without a prescription. It would also allow the state to tax sales of the drug.
In San Diego, voters will also decide on whether to levy an additional local pot tax by voting on Measure N.
