Schools Add Restrictions for Recruiters

San Diego schools tighten up access to students

San Diego schools have voted to rein in aggressive military and college recruiters.

The new policy allows recruiters to visit high school campuses twice each school year, but only in assigned areas.

Recruiters can pass out contact information, but they are no longer allowed to collect student information.

The policy also bars recruiters from using confidential information taken from students' career aptitude tests
