San Diego's Most Wanted

From accused rapists to murderers and suspected child molesters, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department is asking for tips on the whereabouts of the 10 most wanted men.

Number one on the list is Ricardo Persona.  According to officials, he was a teacher who is accused of multiple counts of child molestation and rape by force.  His alleged victims are as young as 10.  He has strong family in both San Diego and Mexico.

Also wanted is Seyyed Nasser Alavi Loftabad, a medical doctor who has had his license revoked.  He is accused of multiple counts of sexual battery and unlawful sexual penetration.  He has family in San Diego and Canada.

Authorities are also seeking a Mexican national wanted for allegedly raping a jogger along the bridal trail in Balboa Park in 2006.  Authorities said DNA matched Arturo Gonzalez Gomez.  He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Sheriff's deputies are also seeking Julio Cesar Jacobo-Curiel.  The 59-year-old is wanted in connection with the Jan. 2008 slaying of 75-year-old Mimi Rohwer of San Marcos.  Authorities said Jacobo-Curiel was the victim's roommate at the time of her death and was last seen in her red 1996 Toyota Camry, with California license plate 3TRH82.
