California Highway Patrol officers closed two lanes on northbound Interstate 805 at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard due to police activity.
San Diego police were called to the intersection just before 9 a.m.
A SigAlert was issued.
Lanes were reopened approximately 30 minutes later.
