A skydiver was hospitalized Sunday after making a hard landing at Skydive San Diego.
Emergency crews were called to the skydive facility on Otay Lakes Road in Jamul around 2:30 p.m.
When medics arrived, the skydiver was unresponsive, according to Cal Fire spokesman Kendal Bortisser.
She was taken by ambulance to Scripps Mercy Hospital.
It is unclear what went wrong, and San Diego Sheriff's officials (SDSO) are investigating.
NBC 7 has learned the woman is a client at Skydive San Diego.
