Chemical Spills Onto Downtown Streets

A 300-gallon container spilled chemicals used for drying concrete

A truck carrying a 300-gallon container of chemicals used to dry concrete spilled onto 10th and B Street in downtown, according to San Diego Fire Department.

The spill occurred at 9:30 a.m. when the chemicals began leaking inside the back of a truck.

California Highway Patrol and San Diego police are providing traffic control while HAZMAT teams clean up the scene.

No injuries have been reported.
