Same Man May Have Robbed 2 Little Caesars Within Hour: PD

Two Little Ceasars pizza shops in El Cerrito and La Mesa were both robbed by armed and masked men Friday night.

Police have not said if they think the crimes are related.

The first robbery happened at the location on El Cajon Boulevard near College Avenue at around 9:30 p.m.

San Diego police say an armed man wearing a ski mask came into the pizza shop and threatened employees with his gun. He demanded money from the employees and then fled northbound on College Avenue.

The suspect was described as 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black mask, black coat, black sweats and black shoes.

The second incident happened about 30 minutes later at a store on Lake Murray Boulevard.

La Mesa police say the suspect was also wearing a mask and had a gun.

"It obviously sounds like a series related crime. They appear to be hitting the store just before they close," LMPD Lt. Vince Brown said.

Lt. Brown said LMPD officers were aware of the robbery in El Cerrito before they responded to the call.

Lt. Brown described the suspect as 6 feet tall and said he fled westbound from store, possibly to a waiting car.

Police are not sure how much money was lost in either incident.
