Graphic testimony has dominated the early portion of the preliminary hearing for a fire captain accused of child molestation.
Raul Licon Jr., a captain with the Barona Fire Protection District, has pleaded not guilty to a half dozen felony charges, including committing a lewd act on a child of 14 or 15.
The first witness in the preliminary hearing was the victim, a relative of Licon, who testified he had been molested starting when he was a high school freshman in 2009. He said it continued through August 2011.
NBC 7 San Diego does not publish the name of sexual assault victims.
The victim, who is now 17, said he was molested on numerous occasions, at his home, in a swimming pool and jacuzzi and also on several vacations.
He said he began to contemplate suicide and started to cut himself and testified he never told anyone because he "didn't think anyone would believe him."
Licon's defense attorney has earlier said the claims are false and made by a disgruntled teenager.
In court, the teen testified that he had in fact gotten into an argument with Licon over loud music.
Under cross examination by the defense attorney, the victim admitted he had been in another relationship with an adult male and "lost his virginity" to that person.
The preliminary hearing is expected to last through tomorrow.
