Rare Storm Could Dampen Weekend Plans

It looks like we could get a second round of Wednesday’s wild weather as another rare storm rolls into Southern California.

Rain dampened Los Angeles Friday morning and forecasters say the strong low-pressure system is heading south towards San Diego.

Drizzle dampened roads early Friday morning in some parts of the county; showers and possibly more thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon.

The weather system comes just two days after a gusty electrical storm pounded California with thunderstorms and lightning that left two dead and seven injured.

This weekend you can expect thick marine layer and pockets of heavy drizzle, weather forecasters said.
