A man with a wheelchair needed assistance after the car he was driving went off a roadway and crashed through a Rancho Bernardo home's brick wall perimeter.
San Diego police were sent to the 12000 block of Pomerado Court, near Rancho Bernardo Drive at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday after a blue van went off the roadway, up a small embankment and crashed through a brick wall before hitting a house, San Diego Police Department (SDPD) said.
The person who uses a wheelchair could not get out of his vehicle and San Diego Fire-Rescue crews were sent to assist. It was not clear if the driver sought medical attention.
A small hole was left in the side of the home near the Oaks North Golf Course. The wall received more substantial damage.
