Three separate power outages were reported Friday afternoon by SDG&E, affecting more than 6,500 San Diego residents.
Areas affected include Uptown communities such as Old Town, Hillcrest, University Heights, North Park, Kearny Mesa, Normal Heights, Mission Valley, Mission Hills and Tierrasanta.
The outages were reported just after 1 p.m. SDG&E is assessing the problems to determine the causes and expects power to be restored by 4 p.m.
