Poll Workers Needed for June Presidential Primary Election in San Diego County

The Registrar's Office is looking for poll workers, especially bilingual individuals, for the Presidential Primary Election on June 7th.

The Registrar's office is now looking for poll workers for the June Presidential Primary Election in San Diego County.

Individuals who are bilingual in Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Khmer and Hindi are especially needed across the county.

Anyone who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and registered to vote in California can apply to become a poll worker.

Poll workers are also required to take an online training course, attend a two-hour class in person and have their own transportation to get to the assigned polling location.

A stipend of $75 to $175 would be given, depending on the assignment. Bilingual poll workers will receive an additional $15, if they are assigned to provide language help to voters.
