An 11-year-old boy who went missing Tuesday afternoon was located the following day when he showed up for school, according to San Diego Police Department.
The boy never returned to his City Heights home from the nearby Henwood Park Tuesday. SDPD said he was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. and was missing through the night.
Police were concerned because of his age; they said he did not have a history of running away.
The following day, he showed up for school on his own, SDPD said.
