A 10-year-old girl was found after San Diego police began a search for a her after she was reported missing from her elementary school.
The girl was last seen in front of Porter Elementary in Lincoln Park, SDPD said.
She was wearing a green sweater, blue jeans, and a black backpack, according to police.
The school is located on 445 South 47th Street, near Interstate-805 and Imperial Avenue.
There is no reason to believe the child was kidnapped at this time, school officials said.
She was found safe almost two hours later about a mile and a half away from the school at 43rd Street and Eta Street.
