A school bus that was reported stolen from a Tierrasanta preschool was found Thursday parked on a street, police confirmed.
The bus was reported stolen Tuesday from Tierrasanta Boulevard.
On Thursday, police officers said the bus was spotted at Riley and Benicia streets in the Morena area at approximately 10:43 a.m.
The distance from the school is just more than eight miles.
School officials told NBC 7 some gifts from students were missing from the bus along with a big jar of candy the driver kept onboard to share with the kids.
The lock was broken on the passenger entrance as well, according to the school.
No arrests have been made.
