San Diego Girl, 10, Competes on TV Cooking Show

A 10-year-old Point Loma girl will appear as a contestant Tuesday on the TV cooking show, "Chopped Junior."

“She’s really into California fresh-style food and seafood,” said Ashley's mother, Megan Carter, of her daughter's cooking. “She also makes lunches for herself and her younger sister for school every day and the meals always have to be balanced.
