Crews were able to extricate a person from underneath a vehicle in Hillcrest Friday afternoon, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD) confirmed.
The crash occurred at 3:11 p.m. on the 1000 block of University Avenue near 10th Avenue just off State Route 163.
According to fire officials, one person was trapped under the vehicle.
First responders were able to remove the person and transported them to a local hospital.
At this time, the extent of injuries is unknown.
