Officers were investigating after a victim was found with stab wounds in the Encanto neighborhood of San Diego Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at 5:36 p.m. on the 6400 block of Wunderlin Avenue near Broadway, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The victim, described as a 29-year-old man, was found with stab wounds to the head and neck.
The stabbing was prompted by a family argument, San Diego police said.
One man went to his vehicle, grabbed a multi-tool and used the knife to stab the victim, police said.
The suspect, described as a 28-year-old man, was taken into custody.
